HOMELESS NOT HELPLESS
The Homeless Not Helpless project was inspired by a homeless man 'Scotty'. We often meet on a Tuesday night, at 7 on the corner of Flinders St Station. We walk up Swanson St, hang out with the homeless and finish around 9.30 pm, back again at Flinders Station. You are all welcome to come, expect a fun night of stories, relationships, and we do get to sing a few songs and dance a little and we even get to give out gift hearts.
Scotty has been giving out Jazzy's gift hearts and has lots of stories to tell. So come along with a few dollars to give and support him in his efforts. Oh and make sure you get yourself a heart from Scotty... a homeless man.
After Working closely with a homeless man Wayne for two years, Greg saw how it was far more socially acceptable when Wayne offered Jazzys Gift hearts instead of begging. Greg loves to share the positive effect the gift hearts had on Wayne; his self respect, self worth and personal dignity grew so much so, that after Wayne died, Greg decided he would promote and share Wayne's legacy in the hope it would help others.

Jazzy AND GREG A GREAT PARTNERSHIP
Greg was so inspired by Jazzy encouraging the homeless to offer gift hearts, that he foundered Jazzy's Gift, a not for profit organisation, created to encourage the homeless and other communities to use these popular gift hearts as an effective fund riser. You too can help us with your donation, click on the donation box below and help Greg and Jazzy provide more hearts to encourage the homeless to stop begging and start giving.
